YEARLY CHAMPIONSHIP

Ye Olde Fartes yearly championship award is presented in each class.  Recurve, Longbow, Primitive, Seniors, Women, Youth & Cubs.  The winners are determined by the highest overall score for 5 months.  We actually shoot 9 monthly scores but since the award is presented in August that month's score is not counted.  That leave 8 monthly shoots to get in the necessary 5 scores (in one class).  You can miss three shoots or drop your three lowest scores, to qualify for the championship.  Some years we might have to drop a shoot due to the weather.  There is no charge for this competition, just come and enjoy a day of shooting every month.

At the August shoot the championship winners are presented with a trophy to take home and they get their names engraved for that year on a brass plate on the OLD MAN CLUB TROPHY  and will be held in rare esteem and immortalized forever at the base of the trophy.
